Final call for Forum entry

Het is tot 1 september mogelijk om je documentaireproject aan te melden voor het IDFA Forum, de internationale coproductiemarkt in november.

Submit your project

The IDFA Forum offers producers the opportunity to pitch their selected projects to leading professionals (commissioning editors, funds, financiers, distributors) in the global documentary industry. This can be done in one of two traditional ways, via the Central Pitch route or as a less formal Round Table Pitch. The IDFA Forum also offers two other pitch categories to present projects with theatrical potential and projects in the last stage of production. All methods will introduce the project to industry experts who can dramatically shape the future trajectory, and potential for success, of your project. – See more at: http://www.idfa.nl/industry/forum/submit-forum.aspx#sthash.RH0v7RA2.dpuf

– Two moderators to advance post-pitch discussion to stimulate finance pledges.
Each project will have one-on-one meetings with commissioning editors interested in your project, arranged by the Forum staff.
– All projects are placed on the IDFA Forum website, where they can be viewed by commissioning editors who have a password. (If you are a commissioning editor and want access to the online catalogue, please let the Forum staff know at idfaforum@idfa.nl).

    Genre-specific Round Table Pitches: Cross-media
Within the Cross-Media genre we are looking for creative non-linear new media projects with an emphasis on interactivity and/or where the Internet as primary component. Traditional linear documentary with Internet support is not considered as a cross-media project. In recent years critically acclaimed projects such as Gaza/Sderot , Prison Valley, From Zero – People Rebuilding Life After the Emergency and 24h Berlin have been pitched at the Forum – many of which later premiered at DocLab, IDFA’s festival program for Digital Documentary Storytelling.

Genre-specific Round Table Pitches: Arts and Culture
The Forum strives for a selection that covers the wide range of the arts and culture genre. Within the Arts & Culture genre, we accept documentaries on all art forms, including applied arts, from in-depth studies of the creative process of artists to artists in their historical and/or social context, to documentaries on artistic trends. To enhance in-depth discussion and increase the potential for co-production, the selected projects are programmed in one specially intended Round Table pitch slot with commissioning editors working in the field of arts and culture. – See more at: http://www.idfa.nl/industry/forum/submit-forum.aspx#sthash.RH0v7RA2.dpuf
