HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HFM
From September 27 to October 1 2012 the Holland Film Meeting (HFM) will again prove one of Europe’s key meeting points for the finance of quality independent film. This year the event celebrates its 25th birthday and will, more than ever, look to stimulate the highest high levels of co-production activity between many of Europe’s leading producers and representatives from the Dutch, European and global finance, production, sales and distribution industries.

EYE ON TURKEY
Turkey and its production industry will be firmly in the Utrecht spotlight in 2012 as the HFM explores every possibility to create solid ties between Dutch producers and their Turkish counterparts. As with the Scandinavian focus of 2011, experts from the Turkish sales, production and distribution sectors will explain their modus operandi, assess their recent output and isolate the common areas of interest in order to facilitate fruitful and ongoing co-operation with then Dutch and European industries. The HFM will look to select a minimum of three Turkish projects in development, each ripe for co-production, to present during the Netherlands Production Platform (see below).
