Call for Entry | IDFA introduces Entry Fee

IDFA roept filmmakers op om hun project in te dienen voor het festival 2012, en kondigt een ‘entry fee’ aan.

IDFA introduces Entry Fee

Dear film professional,

Filmmakers make film festivals happen. IDFA greatly appreciates your submissions, and we sincerely hope that you see IDFA as a valuable launch pad for your creative documentary.

We are proud that even after 25 years, we still receive more and more submissions each year. Unfortunately, due to rising administrative costs, we will now have to require a modest fee for each submission. This fee of €30 plus VAT will cover the processing and viewing of your film.

We truly appreciate your commitment to IDFA, so if you submit your film before June 18 by completing the IDFA 2012 Online Entry Form, we will waive the new fee. After June 18, we will require the fee of €30 plus VAT for all submissions, together with the completed entry form and two DVDs of the work. Please note that the entry fee is non-refundable.

To submit your film, please complete the IDFA 2012 Online Entry Form. Please see IDFA 2012 Regulations for our submission guidelines and other rules and regulations.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Cordially,
IDFA Program Department
