Producers Wanted for Rutger Hauer International Masterclass (18-28 June 2009)

Top directors like PAUL VERHOEVEN and ROBERT RODRIGUEZ won’t let their busy Hollywood schedules keep them from nurturing a new generation of filmmakers. Both will be teaching virtual master classes at this year’s Rutger Hauer Filmfactory via Skype.

The internationally acclaimed Polish writer/director/artist LECH MAJEWSKI (BASQUIAT, THE GARDEN OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS) will be coaching aspiring directors during the masterclass, alongside Rutger Hauer. Belgian DP WALTHER VAN DEN ENDEN (DAENS, NO MAN’S LAND, JOYEUX NOËL) advises the selected DOPs. MARTEN RABARTS, artistic director at the Binger Filmlab and writer/director/producer SUSAN KORDA, who teaches at Columbia University in New York, will lead the creative team sessions.
